I've done a lot of business with Performance Honda on Rt 4 so I called them first but they wouldn't give me the deal I wanted. I ended up going to Kings Honda. My OTD was $44,074. No trade in. I paid just over invoice which I thought was a good deal but your price is $1,500 under invoice. That is an incredible deal. I also only owe just over $7,000 on my principle.

Same here with Performance Honda. I sat at the Table with Dave one of their sales managers and he gave me his so called "lowest price" OTD and we walked. He later called me to get the other dealers lowest price that he would match it, of course I said no thanks. My only setback is the Dealers lifetime power train warranty if I service my vehicle at their place which is a 45 min drive.

WOW!! You got yourself an awesome deal. The price is like I paid for my Touring invoice. Too late, I have signed some paper and make deposit for $200 and plan to pick up this Saturday.

May I ask where in VA? I'm also in VA and starting to shop for an Elite.

First of all, much appreciated to the folks around here posting these prices. After my experience negotiating at the dealership today, I sure was glad I knew at which prices to call their BS!

Model Purchased---------- Modern Steel Passport Touring AWD, Black Interior
Accessories Added-------- Wheel locks, cargo tray, mud guards
MSRP----------------------- $42,225
Discount off MSRP-------- $4,579
Adjusted price -------------$37,646
Net price (including accessories)-$38,021 (excludes tax/tag/title/fees)

2 dealers here in NC matched this price. One of them let me have the Passport for a full-day test drive last weekend, so I went with him for the sale. Now I've just got to work on them for the trailer hitch install price (w/ATF cooler, including labor, they quoted $1900; I'm aware of buying the parts myself online but they want $600 labor to install them, so I'm trying to get them to match/get closer to online prices and just complete the purchase through their dept). Thanks again y'all!

Let me know how i did...i think i did good..lol based on car gurus
2019 EX-L 2WD

Also, Window tint, all season mats and trunk tray were included.

I fought pretty aggressive for this deal

Ok I finally pulled the trigger:

Red Passport Elite.

Fender flares
Tow pkg with ATC
Roof basket kit
Roof crossbars
Body side molding
Low profile hood air deflector
Door edge guards
Window tint
All weather matts
Cargo trunk tray

Passport. 39300
Accessories. 3050
Taxes and fees: 4550

OTD: 46,900

Might have been able to squeeze a little more but I wanted to get it done. No luck on the Honda care 120k miles. They wouldn’t budge off of $1865.

Should take delivery by Friday night:

Tax included? Best price I’ve seen!

In most states you don’t pay sales tax on your trade in value. Don’t get me wrong, the price in the post 2 posts up is a really great price, but if you are looking at out the door price, you must realize that they didn’t pay sales tax on $20,500 of the purchase. It would be best to look at the vehicle price with everything included except tax since tax on vehicle purchases can vary drastically for lots of reasons.

Actually, I don’t think the buyer paid any sales tax since their state has no sales tax.

Correct. No sales tax in NH! :)

I had been looking at a number of different vehicles as well so had had my trade appraised 4 other times (one time being another Honda dealer trying to also sell me a PP but I walked away from that deal). The range in trade value from other dealers was $18k to $19.8k before I made this deal. So I was obviously very happy with the final deal.

Model Purchased - 2019 Sport AWD
Accessories Added - Dealer quoted $3,574.80 of installed accessories included.
Which were:
Body side molding
Door edge guard
Roof rails
Cross bars
Roof basket
Low pro hood deflector
Extruded running boards
Fender Flares
All season mats

I had to pay for the tow package - $1,480.58 installed

MSRP
- $39,990.38 = $34,935 + all accessories

Discount off MSRP
- ($4,574.80)

This is probably NOT the norm. The dealer made a mistake on their online price but I still had to negotiate hard to make them honor the price.
