1) The auto day/night mirror has a ring around it that doesn't dim? On my 2016 CR-V Touring the entire mirror dimmed. Wife's 2019 Pilot has the same annoying issue with her mirror.
2) Wife has 2019 Pilot. Would like to have my Passport #1 remote be remote #2 for her Pilot. That way I have one key fob that works on both cars.
3) love how much quieter it is than my 2016 CR-V.

Guess I hate that I’ve not seen another one on the road.
You may live to eat those words! LOL I have a strange feeling that the Passport will be a very popular line for Honda. It also has been getting very positive reviews so far. The press love them!

Piano black, everywhere. HATE.
If there is enough demand for a non-gloss covering somebody will offer a solution. If Lloyd christmas and Harry Dunne in Dumb and Dumber can cover their van with fur, one should be able to find something.

I was planning on using scotchgard to cover it up but I’m thinking the fur route might be a little more classy. Thanks for the idea bud.

I am not happy about the way the hands free tailgate does not work well. I rarely have the hands free tailgate work for me. I took it into Honda service and the damn thing started working every time. Could it be the difference in natural light versus indoor lighting at the customer service?

What is the secret foot wave that works for you?

Do you have a trailer hitch?

Wear steel-toed work boots?

I haven't had the opportunity yet to use such a feature. I do have a satellite speaker system with my desktop PC. It has a remote on/off switch. It does take the right motion to make it work. Same for other remote device such as TV's & other sound systems.

Mine seems to work fine when I don't really need it LOL! When my hands are full and can't get to the remote or the button then it decides to be stubborn. I have noticed that if my keys are by my phone then it doesn't seem to work - maybe there is some signal conflict? Also, as bhertz mentioned if I leave another door open then it won't work.

Power Tailgate Hands Free Access*1
Use a forward and back kicking motion under the center of the rear bumper to open or close the power tailgate while carrying the smart entry remote. Some exterior lights flash twice and a beeper sounds once, then the tailgate begins to move.

Note:This function will not operate if you don't have the smart entry remote on you. Please make sure you have the smart entry remote on you.
During rain or in other instances when the vehicle becomes wet, the sensor may not properly detect your foot motion.

The issue I have now is that I have walked away from it while it is still running. No fault of the Passport, I have been using a key to start my vehicles for over 50 years now, difficult to break old habits.
