The heated seats don’t seem to come on with remote start in the cold at least not the driver side. I haven’t actually sat in the passenger seat to see. I don’t think the indicate lights come on with the remote to show they are on (correct me if I’m wromg on that) but the seat is cold so I can tell they aren’t coming on. They do the random coming on once I actually push button start.
The seats, either heated or cooling, come on when you remote start. Once you push the Start button the lights will illuminate. The outside temperature drives the heating/cooling cycle. If you are getting random seat heat activation you have a maintenance issue

Can’t believe idle stop cant be completely disabled and will come on every time. Also LKAS does not stay on and must be enabled every time the car is started. Common Honda....
It's the same on every car I own... you can only disable it temporarily.. considering the minor amount of gas you save its ridiculous, I will say that the Honda version is much less intrusive than others I have had and seems to shut off less frequently.

My concern if you leave idle/stop enabled. Does it put more wear and tear on the vehicle? I am surely no Honda engineer and Honda would know best. The feeling is so weird how it feels like it stalled. I just can’t get use to it.
I don't think you can buy a car without it anymore... My X-1 had 80K on it when I traded it in and no issues with the starter and BMW's idle stop is much more aggressive on shutting off than the Honda

The seats will either heat or cool depending on the outside temperature when you remote start the vehicle. The indicator lights will come on when you hit the start button to drive away. If the seat heat/cool is just randomly coming on you have an issue and you should get it checked by the dealer.

The manual says the changes you make to the way the keyless entry works only applies to the key FOB that was used to unlock the driver's door. I assumed that meant you could only customize one (which I also thought was weird). But I guess you could relock them and then unlock the door with the other one and try it out.
You are correct if the car is set for driver 1 and driver 2 is going to drive all they need to do is lock and unlock the doors and their setting will apply. That is also true for most other car models.
