I contacted close to a dozen dealerships, then went back and forth with each of them. I made a spreadsheet and everything. :)
My friends kid me because I do spreadsheets for everything, this process being no exception. By the time I visited the dealer for the 4th time (had already visited other dealers), I was ready for the process to end and didn't feel like doing hardball negotiation. Since I had already gotten the price into my acceptable range, I bit.

I don't particularly like the new car buying process, which is one reason I keep my cars so long.

Well guys, I can FINALLY contribute to this thread. Picked up an Elite Passport yesterday. Yay! Here's my pricing info:

2019 Passport Elite
$39,915 - Price Paid
$3,935.93 - Fees, Tax, Tag, etc
$43,850.93 - Total OTD

No trade in and no accessories, although wheel locks were included.
That’s the price I’m shooting for. Are the LED headlights nice and brite?

After thoroughly researching pricing and dealer inventory, made my deal via text in about 15 mins. Paid $39,600 for Blue 2019 AWD Touring from ONeil Honda in Overland Park, KS. Know some have bought cheaper, happy with my deal. Now I’m accessorizing, moonroof visor, body side moldings, running boards and all weather mats.

It was a TrueCar/USAA price quote from another dealer. Tampa matched it as I had purchased my CRV from them and they wanted to keep my business.
TrueCar pricing depends on the model, trim and area. Most dealers will match if you can show proof. Prices for my area were not very aggressive for an Elite. Tampa must be very competitive?

I actually started with CarGurus.com, then TrueCar and the salesperson I was working with was able to get his dealer to beat it after I told them I could probably get it for less through Costco. However, Tampa is very competitive. At least 5 dealers in the immediate Tampa area, 4 in Orlando and another 2-3 within 2 hours. I worked it with many and TH matched. We went with them as they are the closest to us.

White EXL 2WD Retail 37,455 Discount 4000. Got the wheel locks, fender flares, roof rails, back seat protectors, and Die cast running boards. Cost for accessories way to much 2233 installed. Wife had to have them! The fender flares, roof rails, and running boards really off set nicely with the white paint. Total OTD 38021.31. I would recommend buying accessories at Bernardi Honda. They have the best price and least expensive freight. They are offering a 5 percent additional discount this week. Sold my wife's 2003 White Honda pilot after 16 years and over 200,000 miles. Wow what an upgrade for my her and to use for our trips!

Model Purchased———————-Silver Passport Elite
MSRP————————————-$44,675.00 (includes destination fee)
Discount off MSRP———————$4,000.00
Accessories Added———————$995 (wheel locks, splash guards and cargo tray - was some ridiculous "protection package" dealer said was pre-installed in all their vehicles and just seemed like a way to fluff up the purchase price; I would have purchased the splash guards and cargo tray anyway which would have cost ~$290, so this charge was really an extra $705 to the dealer as far as I was concerned)

Total price before tax/tag/fees——$41,575

Purchased in Los Angeles area

I obtained financing directly from Bank of America, which had the lowest interest rate I could find online. That way I didn't have to worry about the dealer taking a piece of the financing too.
