Out of curiosity, what did you use to search for your car? I tried using Cars.com, but noticed that it left out a number of local dealers that I know have the car in stock.
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
I'm using Car Gurus daily, I really like their search options and capabilities and when you contact a dealer, you do NOT have to give them your phone number.
And I sold my car thru them (free- no charge) last October...

Bought the wife’s Odyssey about 8 months ago from the same great, no hassle salesman. We got 10 free oil changes for the Odyssey, but said they were not offering that currently (finance guy would give me 5 free if I bought the Honda Care through him). I was persistent with the salesman and gave it to me for my Passport.
Yes, first I did an online quote request, it was almost instantaneously returned to me by email. Once I finished with my finance guy at the local dealer with no deal, I gave Saccucci a call to purchase the plan from them.Great deal - i'm looking for almost the same deal! Are you saying you bought HondaCare from Saccucci (middletown RI) and the car somewhere else? if so, did you just call them up and tell them you want to buy honda care and like gave them a VIN?
-- thanks for sharing
Congrats. I'm also in FL and I also want AWD, but I'm gonna go Elite so I get it anyway. Was tough to get a non-Elite AWD in Florida, but they are there.
NVM - called hondacare and they advised me hondacare does not cover "body items"does anyone have any experience on Hondacare on accessories - would I have to buy it and have it installed at the same time/dealer to qualify? (e.g. appear in the original invoice with the vehicle)
I'm considering the Running boards with lights, or even illuminated door sill trim.
- (and would want the lights to be covered by honda care if they ever break).
You say you did not pay for any dealer add-ons. Does your paid price include destination and taxes and fees?Just took the plunge for a Touring AWD Lunar Silver
MSRP - 42,225
Paid - 39,930
Discount - 2,295
No warranty, accessories, etc purchased at the dealer.
The price paid includes destination, but not taxes and fees. I left out the taxes and fees since those are unique to my location. You say you did not pay for any dealer add-ons. Does your paid price include destination and taxes and fees?
Sorry off topic. Be careful with body add on’s. Just be sure to photograph the vehicle when a manager is present and then check when you get it back. Bought an 07 Ridgeline new and had fender flares put on. 2 lousy paint jobs later I took a huge loss to offload it. They totally denied scratching the paint but offered to fix it. After the 2nd bad paint I demanded a new vehicle. They told me get lost. Oh, Honda of Lisle if anyone cares.
