I picked up my new Passport Elite today from Anderson Honda in Palo Alto, California. Very Happy.

They gave me $6k trade in for a beat up 2011 Acura RDX Turbo with AWD, and I'm happy with that. Best cash offer I had on the car was only $3400.

I'll post pics as I do work on it. I got the white exterior and the black interior.

Quick question for those who got Honda Care from Saccucci Honda. Can you get that from them even if you are on the West Coast? My dealer quoted me $2400 for Honda Care, and I said no thanks since I saw that I could get it from Saccucci Honda for $1395.

Picking up Black Touring FWD today. negotiated $36,747 which includes mud flaps, nitrogen, wheel locks, and pinstripe (which they’ll be removing for me). OTD of $37,500 with $500 in taxes, $198 dealer fee and $50ish in tags. Just have to decide whether I want black or grey interior, as they have both on the lot. This is in Upstate SC.

I live in Texas and I got my extended warranty from Sarcucci 8 yrs ago on my Acura. Only state I believe you cannot go out of state to get a Hondacare ext warranty is Florida...Dealers complained to Honda that they were losing business.

With the awesome info I learned here, Cargurus.com and getting online quotes for HondaCare...I was able to negotiate $39,000 for the car and got them to match my lowest quote for the extended warranty. (He started at $2995) My insurance co offers GAP insurance for $35 a year, big difference from the $695 they were charging. Made sure they got me a competitive finance rate too. (4.49% for 75 months) Trade was best I could do with 78K miles and a car that needed tires and didn't hold its value. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this vehicle. My dad taught me how to buy a car when I was a kid, I think he would've been proud of me!

Lots of dealers in Indiana are willing to sell at invoice or close to it. That's the easy part. Finding a Deep Scarlet Pearl Elite???? That's the difficult part!

Crown Honda in Pinellas Park, FL. It was my second new Honda purchase in 6 months, which contributed to the discount. And I was doing my research. I have been in contact with the dealer since November '18 about the Passport.

Bought mine at Tampa Honda and got almost the same % off. It was the 2nd purchase from them in a year. They met the TrueCar price which was lower than the Costco price. The Touring AWD I got actually came from Crown. Wasn’t pleased with all the crap they put on it, but oh well. Lots of competition in the Tampa/St Pete area, south to Sarasota and east to Orlando. You can get a good price out there.

yea they marked up the Honda Passport vehicle price. Technically The vehicle price is $33,890 they marked up the vehicle about 4000 dollars.
im not saying its a bad purchase because from MSRP $33,890 - $4000 is 29,890 so paid about $200 which is a great deal because it's very close to invoice pricing.
