I agree with you on the speakers! They are pretty lousy! I have the Elite package with the 550 watt sound too. The sound isn't the best and was confirmed as to why, when I saw the cheap plastic speakers while I had the door panels off for other work I was doing on my vehicle. The speakers have really tiny magnets and are lite as a feather! (totally made out of plastic.) No metal frames or anything. I thought, "wow, this is upgraded audio."?! I will be ordering some real speakers from Crutchfield soon!

Wow... I'm surprised about the speakers. For a factory system I think it sounds very good. Of course that is subjective among each person. I've been around high end audio for over 40 years, both home and car audio, and while I would not consider the stock "upgraded" system to be "high end" I do think it sounds good. Can you get better sound that would satisfy even the most discriminating audiophile? Sure for $$$$$. I agree though, a modest investment in higher quality speakers might be worthwhile to some. I was listening today to some of my favorite classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits) and was thinking how good the bass and kick drums sounded. For a stock system, it's one of the best I've heard.

Love everything except:
- Auto stop but now I automatically push the off button after every start up.
- Parking brake pedal is just in the way. Why not an activation button near the shift like my 2013 LR4?
- 20" wheels and low profile tires. Just useless for any of the offroad activities.

Love
Perfect size and power (CR-V lack of power, Pilot don't need 7 seats)
Love how its quiet like the pilot
Love the technology
Love the remote start thats on the key not on the app that you have to pay monthly
Love spacious cargo
Love the Standard LED
Love the potential stuff you can do for this car
Love the Low road noise
Equipped well with entry level
Very comfortable back seats
Legit Real AWD

Hate
Price (technically using the same pilot stuff on a different car nothing huge has changed)
No 360 camera... should be a mandatory for a sized vehicle like this
MPG the car should be higher on the MPG not worse than Pilot.
Speakers... they say 550 watts but still the speakers itself is crap...
Wheels ... hideous looking....
Turn on the enhanced sound. Sounds much better imo. Once I turned that on, I was pleased with the sound.

I'm very happy with the sound. No complaints. In fact, it "SoundsGood" to me
How many posts did it take you before you could finally work that in? (LOL)

Anyway, would an upgrade to the speakers make the stereo sound better? YEAH.
Would most people here hear the difference? NO.

The Elite/Touring 550w Stereo sounds REALLY good to me, these are the adjustemnts I (rock &) roll with::
DTS: ON
Center Channel: Turned WAY down
Subwoofer: Turned up a little
Bass: Turned up a little
Midrange: Left Flat (no adjustment)
Treble: Turned up a little
Front Rear Fader: Turned towards the Rear a little.
ALL Speakers: ON
Rear Seats: Folded Down

For anyone wanting to hear this system at it's finest: get a REMASTERED CD of "New Gold Dream" by Simple Minds, the punch of the bass & drums is unfreakin' believable!

PS: if anyone upgrades their speakers let me know...

TBH If you put the vehicle that has very nice speakers side by side and hear from both cars you can definitely tell the difference. Yes coming from a vehicle that has Harmon Kardon definitely the sound quality spoiled my ears.... you can say i'm an audiophile... Although you could also change the quality of the sound from dynamat, because it isolates the sound from the outside.
