The skid plate is easy to install and should be less than 1 hour labor... remove 4 bolts in the front and 2 bolts in the rear, then reinstall bolts with skid plate in plate. You may have to enlarge one or two of the holes in front for proper alignment. I added fender washers to all the bolts for a better installation.
The guy that called me actually mentioned the issue with the holes and also stated there were three in front, ?? Hence, the “potential” cost issues should any adaptations be required.

I had the lift kit installed and the new wheels and tires done, including mounting the factory tires back on the factory wheels after removing the tire pressure sensors, at a place in Kernersville, NC for about $700. May wanna check them out. Kernersville Tire and Diesel/Route 66 Custom Built Trucks and Jeeps. They do all the builds for the local Dodge/Jeep dealer.
Vann York in High Point was the dealership in question. I’ll check the other guys out.

Four bolts in the front. The two outside bolt aligned perfectly. The one or two in the middle may need to be enlarged with a drill bit or small grinder (easily). The bolts should be perpendicular to the mating threads. Otherwise, the bolts will be cross-threaded. The fender washers will help to span the slots in the skid plate.

Ordered it from etrailer.com since my local shop didn’t have them. $298. It’s simple with good coverage and easy on off. 6.5’ x 6.5’It looks small in the picture but at the right angle to the sun it works great. If you are looking for more coverage then go with an ARB awning.

Went back to dealership to have towing package installed. Parts weren’t in stock when we picked up our Lunar Silver EX-L last week. Walked by the service bay and was surprised to see the entire rear apron removed and the hitch itself looks fairly robust.

We paid just under $1300 for hitch, wiring harness, and transmission cooler. Glad I decided against DIY this time.

Loving the Passport, and looking forward to making some road trips!

It’s an awning that rolls inside a bag and attached to the roof rack. It could go on either side. When we head out to explore in the desert, camping, hiking or just picnicking we pull it out. I’ll post a picture next time we’re out with it in the field.

I did this to mine a few days ago...not everyone's taste I know, but they are fun to me. I've bought them in body color matching for my, '08 Pilot, '12 Ridgeline and now my '19 PPort Obs Blue Touring. Wife won't let me get them for her metallic grey, '13 Crosstour-EXL. :sneaky:

My drummer buddy in one of my bands saw them at last gig. He restores classic cars. He sent me a pic of some red ones' he ordered for his just completed, '57 Chey Belair he just restored. Way cooler on his ride than mine.

It's cool that you found something you like to set your car apart, not being a gambler, I just don't get it.

Then again, I'm thinking of putting a sticker of the cover of the cover of Joy Division Unknown Pleasures on the lower corner of my rear window, which I'm guessing most people would not like or want to do, so once again it's all about comtomizing into something YOU like!

@steveD, Well that's what sets your auto apart from others when we individualize them. I just think it's fun. Not many would expect to see classic car fuzzy dice on a brand new vehicle. I get some smiles and thumbs up from those in the know. I imagine doing the JD cover would get you the same reaction; from some.

I pull down the fuzzy dice and toss them in the large center bin for certain occaisions. I also have some very small, motorcycle and musician company decals on rear window that only riders and musicians might recognize. Again, it's just fun for me. And they can come right off when I choose to remove any of them.

That 80's era music wasn't my thing back then. But my band just started covering some Level 42 and UB40 tunes. Very fun stuff to play. That Mark King was one bad dude. Putting me thru my paces on bass. peace y'all, e.
