The guy that called me actually mentioned the issue with the holes and also stated there were three in front, ?? Hence, the “potential” cost issues should any adaptations be required. The skid plate is easy to install and should be less than 1 hour labor... remove 4 bolts in the front and 2 bolts in the rear, then reinstall bolts with skid plate in plate. You may have to enlarge one or two of the holes in front for proper alignment. I added fender washers to all the bolts for a better installation.
Vann York in High Point was the dealership in question. I’ll check the other guys out.I had the lift kit installed and the new wheels and tires done, including mounting the factory tires back on the factory wheels after removing the tire pressure sensors, at a place in Kernersville, NC for about $700. May wanna check them out. Kernersville Tire and Diesel/Route 66 Custom Built Trucks and Jeeps. They do all the builds for the local Dodge/Jeep dealer.
Four bolts in the front. The two outside bolt aligned perfectly. The one or two in the middle may need to be enlarged with a drill bit or small grinder (easily). The bolts should be perpendicular to the mating threads. Otherwise, the bolts will be cross-threaded. The fender washers will help to span the slots in the skid plate. The guy that called me actually mentioned the issue with the holes and also stated there were three in front, ??
