Just wrote my last online bill pay to Honda Financial Services for my Passport!

I financed it for six months to get $1000 off MSRP and it added 80 points to my credit score!

Still love it and even more while I’m still driving a rental Dodge Journey for the next few weeks for work days.

And an update on what I thought I did to my Passport about a month ago - I backed out of the condo sale with the bigger garage. It turned out to be in a flood zone and the HOA pulled their flood insurance policy a year ago without telling anyone! So when I leave San Jose - I’m back to this...

Wow! Must be nice! Geez, I think I still have 84 months to pay....

Just checked with one dealership in high point, nc that can apply this kit. Labor for the lift: $800, for the skid plate: $300. That brings the total to around $5K! They initially quoted me $3500 just for the kit. I called Jsport and was called by the person they recommended at a Honda dealership; he quoted me the same price Jsport website does. Then gave me a number for another 4 X 4 shop that would definitely have lower labor rates. “It’s a nine hour job.” Hmm.

The skid plate is easy to install and should be less than 1 hour labor... remove 4 bolts in the front and 2 bolts in the rear, then reinstall bolts with skid plate in plate. You may have to enlarge one or two of the holes in front for proper alignment. I added fender washers to all the bolts for a better installation.
The guy that called me actually mentioned the issue with the holes and also stated there were three in front, ?? Hence, the “potential” cost issues should any adaptations be required.

I had the lift kit installed and the new wheels and tires done, including mounting the factory tires back on the factory wheels after removing the tire pressure sensors, at a place in Kernersville, NC for about $700. May wanna check them out. Kernersville Tire and Diesel/Route 66 Custom Built Trucks and Jeeps. They do all the builds for the local Dodge/Jeep dealer.
Vann York in High Point was the dealership in question. I’ll check the other guys out.
