Today, I drove my Passport along the coast before the hooligans were out and enjoyed my quiet drive and the views!

After I got home, I wiped down the engine and hood from all the dust. The dealer didn’t detail it very well, and I’m thinking most of it was from the truck transport?

I bought it April 13, this is what it looked like when I arrived. After I bought it, I think they just rinsed it as it was still way dirty for a new car purchase. But oh well. Then they did put that paint wax stuff on it and it was still very dirty in places like door cracks, the engine, etc...I just my kept forgetting to wipe the engine and inside of the hood until someone in here asked about power washing the area.

Maybe my standards are higher than the dealer?

Btw - I keep forgetting to say something since you are kinda my neighbor...my name is heather !

We do! I am home until August 4th, then back to SJ for about two months.
Who else is OC or even So Cal? I think there was a guy in LA?

Btw - was everything good in your hood the last two days with the quake? We were rolling here and I literally went under a door frame in my apartment!

I gave a neighbor a ride in my Passport. She's been researching them and enjoyed taking a close look at it without the bother of a salesperson hovering over her, as she said. She was definitely impressed.

Long holiday weekend so I gave the PP some TLC! Washed her up and detailed the inside along with cleaning/conditioning the seats. Finally put on the door edge film, door sill strips and bumper appliqué. All turned out well for my DIY skills except the bumper. It could be better, but oh well. It’ll serve its purpose? now that all that’s done along with the windows tinted, body molding and splash guards she’s good to go for awhile.

I used Mothers VLR. If I understand correctly the PP has leather trimmed seats and the middle section is vinyl. So I figured this was a good combo product to use on both. Hope this helps!

I had "just a key" to my HL before this PP.
Grrr... accessory list keeps growing.

I also bought my leather Key Fob cover on Amazon, mine has red-stitching, which matches my watch & sunglasses. The Key Fob also cam with a rubber cover that I put on my second key, and it makes it easy to tell #1 & #2 apart.

And great idea for both keys, but my spare sits in a key bowl at home.
