Look forward to your pics Barbwire. ^^^

I don’t know but I also noticed that the other day and was wondering what it was.

I installed the side door mouldings today. I installed them a few inches higher than the normal position.

Damn, i guess I have to stop by the dealership tomorrow and ask what is it.
Thought it was some kind of deformity so I pushed it and heard a crack... lol
It seems like a speaker... could be wrong.
Let us know what it is when you find out Vash.

Thanks for getting back to us Vash.
I was actually wondering if it was a carry over from the Pilot for the 3rd row seating seatbelt.

Very nice ProdGirl, that looks fantastic and is very functional.

Hey ProdGirl, that looks fantastic, love it. What tutorial did you use to apply it? I would like to do that.

Hey Wayne!

It was a combination of videos, reading, etc...
Super easy.

Prep:
With damp cloth wipe down all the emblems, use a damp qtip to get in the little nooks.
Paint tape around the emblems leaving about 1-2” between the tape and emblem.
All I had was a bunch of printer paper, but it worked. Masked the whole area as photographed.
Depending on where you live, it’s suggested the Plasti Dip can is a bit warmer. I just set mine on the asphalt by my garage.

Paint:
Before each coat - Shake the can for about a minute and spray some test shots.

#1) Spray the emblem for about 50% coverage.
Wait 30 minutes.
#2) Spray more coverage
Wait 30 minutes
#3 - #5) Sprays even more coverage, get at the angles to get on the sides of the emblems.
Wait 30 minutes.

At the 30 minute mark, start removing all the tape and paper. Then peel the plasti dip off really slowly, especially close to the emblems.

I had to get into the nooks with toothpicks to get the paint out.

And then I read wait 24 hours for it to cure from water, car wash, etc...it’s definitely tacky feeling still. Will check it tomorrow and see.

The awesome part about this is if you F-it up, it just peels off. I tested the inside of my door to double check before starting!?

And another member here, (Mezzfin), had a modern steel he did and that’s what sold me. I had to see my color. ?
Awesome, thank you for the reply, I will definitely try this when I get a chance.

Nice job on the carbon fibre wrap on your console. Was it difficult, did you do it yourself?
