Was it hard to get off? I've wanted to do this. Also, how do you get the dealership labeling off?
Thanks.
The OEM badges were easy with a little heat from a hair dryer (not too hot or let it sit in the sun). I was surprised that the adhesive tape was very pliable. After a few years, the tape and adhesive will likely harden. I did not have a dealership label. Use heat and use your fingernail to peel up a corner, then remove slowly. Here are a couple of photos. I lost/misplaced a "P" when I was done.

For getting labels off, this thing is the best.

That looks great. My dealer one peeled right off. A plastic razor took the "passport" and "Elite" off and the heat gun and razor took care of the AWD. I had to use a lot of goo gone and elbow grease to get the ghosts of those off. I had never done that before but love the look of a "clean" car without the badges! Glad I read about it.

Still waiting to hear what those tires are on those cars in the pictures.

Did you get the installation kit as well? Easy to do?
Yes, it comes with an installation kit. The other guy said it was easy to put on. Will see after I receive it.

Got mine off today. It looks awesome without those things!

Aside from a cleaner look, it makes the detailing (waxing) easier without the badges. And, the rear cheeks on the tailgate become more obvious. :giggle:
It does look clean, but I feel like it's identity is now a mystery...

I will be picking up my Black Forest beauty this coming Saturday. Will hold out all the Weathertech accessories, running board purchase around memorial weekend. Hope to get some special or free shipping from College Hill or Weathertech.

I finally added the Honda basket to my roof today and looks awesome but will take pics tomorrow as it got too dark ?
Scooter Dude,
I would think by now your little guy would be lit up like a Christmas tree with all you LED lights and running boards. Glad you got you basket up. Did your platform ladder make the process flow easier? I think that is great the Honda basket is the Thule basket. Would it be cheaper to get the Thule basket at REI during 20 percent off day compared to the Honda model therefore have REI insurance?
Thanks,
Pdog
