The captains chair arm rest are about the same size as the arm rest that are attached to the sides of the doors, no one complains the door arm rest is too small?
The first 40 years of my driving expience I had no center arm rest.
I know people like to complain because its in there nature, I guess that is what these forums are for, I just want to share knowledge, and make new friends

I voted an 8. In my rural setting, I have averaged 24 MPG over the first 5,000 miles of driving - my HR-V averages 31.

I love so many things about the Elite: quiet, fast, great sound system, ample room for me and 3 or 4 adults, the heating/cooling controls for the passengers, wonderful exhaust note when accelerating which then appropriately goes away when cruising.
Truth be told, as much as I love the engine, I would give it up in a heartbeat if a hybrid was offered as an alternative.
How do you compare an HRV to a Passport?... An HRV (subcompact) 3100 lbs.1.8L 4 cyl. 141 hp A Honda Passport (Midsize/large category) 4300lbs. 3.5L V6 280HP (double the hp) It's like comparing a Honda Fit to a 2.0L Accord.

I own a HR-V too, the HR-V scoots around and the Passport cruises. its like comparing apples to oranges.

With all due respect Gary, I can compare Apples to Oranges (LOL- read on):

They are both round
Typically, they are both about the same size
They both have an outer skin
They both have seeds
They both grow on trees
Their juices are both commonly drank with breakfast
They are both fruits
You can readily buy both a grocery stores
You can grow both at home
They both hurt when hurled at someone

Cheers...

I rated mine a 9. I have about 3500 miles on it already since picking it up in early April. I've done some longer drives, and I can tell you that all the safety features on it really make it safer especially when you're driving tired (which I would never recommend) but it happens.

Things that I wish it had though. Not unhappy but wish it had:

1. I wish the center console went higher made it an armrest like the RDX & MDX, so that there was more storage there, and that it locked.
2. I wish the OEM trunk cover actually went all the way to the back of the seats and was set higher, so that more things can be hidden.
3. Gas mileage could be better, but it's ok.
4. Wish the touchscreen could be controlled by a stick in the middle or by steering wheel tools easily.
