Thanks! Yes, they came as part of the "Adventure Package B (Touring)" that we added when we purchased the car.I have the same color in Elite. Did you purchase the running boards and cross bars from dealer? Looks GREAT!

Definitely fake news. It's a good question. The salesperson told us that all of the AWD transmissions have the cooler standard, but that's not the way I read it on the Honda website. I'm not planning to tow anything close to 5k lbs at the moment, but I'm planning to have a mechanic confirm it before I do.
I also thought I saw something about Pilot's having this as standard equipment as well. This is true for the Ridgeline, so that may have the salesperson confused. But we definitely need to confirm this for the Passport. I doubt it.
Not sure what piece you are talking about but if its the one on the bottom half of the bumper that the hitch goes thru..no they don't cut it ,it has about 8 different screws, bolts and plastic tabs that need to come off and then you replace it with the one that comes with the hitch..I just got mine delivered and the replacement panel is included in the box.Im just waiting for a nice day to install it.
Lol. Sales guys often do not know much about the vehicles they sell. I’ve bet salesmen are they willing to lose a sale because they were flat out wrong. 2 times they asked where I was going. I said ask your service manager and went to buy at other dealers. He may be right but logic would say the elite would have more gizmos to shuffle around than a sportWhen I was shown the trailer hitch prices the elite was far cheaper than the lower priced models. Sales guy said there weren't as many sensors to move around.
Rutnick,I started a thread in (Parts And Accessories) under (trailer hitch) that has everything you might want to know....
Was told by my dealer same thing - cooler included as standard on Elite. Purchased vehicle than looked at cooler install instructions because I still had my doubts. Cooler not installed. Talked with dealer sales and service reps. All agreed after some research cooler not pre-installed or standard equipment, it is an accessory at additional cost. I stated I purchased my vehicle with the understanding it was included. Dealer agreed to cover parts & labor and install one. It's a good question. In my case sales rep stated Passport just a shorter sportier Pilot (which has standard cooler). Not true.Definitely fake news.
I just visually confirmed that there are no cooler lines coming out of the transmission block near the ATF warmer, nor is there a transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator on the driver's side where it would be otherwise installed according to the Honda installation instructions. As a sidenote, I am planning on doing this ATF cooler install myself while all the fittings are newish.

Never trust what a salesperson says without double checking. The Ridgeline has has a heavy duty cooling system since it's inception. Looking at the Homda website it doesn't look like any of the trims comes standard with the trann cooler. Cost me $504 installed. This is true for the Ridgeline, so that may have the salesperson confused. But we definitely need to confirm this for the Passport. I doubt it.
