Little thing I love: For my preferred driving seat position which is I guess a bit forward and close to the wheel, when I switch off the engine, the PP will move the seat an inch or two back for easier egress/ingress. When I hop in again and start the engine the PP will move the seat forward to my saved position. ?

Really, my wife's Lexus does that, where is the setting for that?

Settings>Vehicle>Driving Position Setup>Seat Position at Entry/Exit. Page 363 of owners manual. I like the seat way back when I get in and adjust after starting. SWMBO likes to get in with the seat already adjusted.

I really LOVE the auto door lock feature! With it enabled, I just get out, shut the door and walk away...

No more trying to recall if I locked it or not...(insert old age joke here...lol)

If you can share a few things about your ownership of the Honda Passport, what would it be? The most liked or hated, share them with every one I am sure you won't be the only one.
I'm coming from a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium, which we enjoyed. Now in an EX-L in Black Copper Pearl. Have had it 3 weeks but nearing 2k miles due to a few summer trips.

LIKE
  • better ride than the Edge. Handling seems about the same.
  • Better quality material inside and trim / panel alignment
  • I like the radio / entertainment display more
  • It's fast...a smoother fast than the rough V-6 in the Edge
  • getting 3-5 mpg more than the Edge and still in break-in phase
  • love the look and design of the front end
  • love the "little big" effect it has...so spacious inside but outside looks like a lifted mid-size wagon
  • rear seats adjustment
  • headlights seem rather strong ( I notice them reflecting on road signs past cars ahead of me)
  • BCP exterior with pewter grey rims offer a cool contrast

DISLIKE
  • I have front end suspension / steering noises
  • I have the driver side wind noise
  • The Edge seemed to have more clever storage in the passenger areas
  • the tail / rear could be a bit more "edgy"
  • would be great to have one more USB / charging port up front
  • bummed to go back to a small moonroof from a panoramic roof

Overall we are really enjoying it. Big cargo-handling test coming up soon.

The few dislikes you mention (outside of the noises) are ideas I wish Honda would consider for the next PP. I agree with you those things could add sex appeal.

Having said that, I have 10k miles on my PP and still really like the car. Definitely don’t regret buying it instead of another Pilot.

The heated seats don’t seem to come on with remote start in the cold at least not the driver side. I haven’t actually sat in the passenger seat to see. I don’t think the indicator lights come on with the remote to show they are on (correct me if I’m wrong on that) but the seat is cold so I can tell they aren’t coming on. They do the random coming on once I actually push-button start.
The seats will either heat or cool depending on the outside temperature when you remote start the vehicle. The indicator lights will come on when you hit the start button to drive away. If the seat heat/cool is just randomly coming on you have an issue and you should get it checked by the dealer.

The manual says the changes you make to the way the keyless entry works only applies to the key FOB that was used to unlock the driver's door. I assumed that meant you could only customize one (which I also thought was weird). But I guess you could relock them and then unlock the door with the other one and try it out.
You are correct if the car is set for driver 1 and driver 2 is going to drive all they need to do is lock and unlock the doors and their setting will apply. That is also true for most other car models.

I love the SUV a lot. Stylish and great storage. The only thing that I think befuddles me is the acceleration from a stop. It seems a little sluggish to me. It's powerful, but not quick on the gas. Does anyone else feel this way? I feel like if I have to punch it, the response is not there.
