FOR RIMS: Things like the Brand, the Model, Rim Colors, Diameter, Width, and prices paid

FOR TIRES: Brand, Model, color (just joking) Sizes and prices paid

It would help a lot of us out who are on the fence about swapping out the stock rims...

RIMS:
Brand: Black Rhino
Model: York
Part #: 1880YRK355120M76
Color: Matte Black
Diameter: 18"
Width: 8"
Offset: 35

TIRES:
Brand: Nitto
Model: Ridge Grappler
Color: Agressive Orientation
Size: 265/60 R18

Price:
$2500 total, installed

Not sure if hub centric or lug centric, I'm planning to take it to a tire shop to see if the dealer in fact put centering rings in.

FIT:
There is the slightest bit of rub on the outside rear corner of the wheel in the wheel well when turned as far as possible on flat ground. It is barely making contact with the plastic fender liner at a place where the liner is flexible and has about half an inch of flex before contacting the underlying metal. The rub is so slight that I couldn't hear it inside the vehicle and only found it on visual inspection. I think it's safe to say that this is the outer limit of size.

David,

I think this needs to be corrected. The part number you stated has bolt pattern 5x127 while the bolt pattern on Passport is 5x120.
So I would think the correct Part #1880YRK355120M76 and it has offset 35.

So, if I would use 45mm offset instead of 35mm that means the wheel would be 10mm further inboard, right? I'm thinking this would provide a little more clearance when wheels fully turned. I think this because the wheel/tire would be closer to the pivot point. Do you know what the clearance is from the inner tire edge to frame (or whatever it would hit)?

After seeing yours I'm leaning towards 245/70R17 which are exactly the same diameter as yours, but 20mm narrower. I would be fine with the fit you achieved, in fact I'd say it's perfect, but I'm going a bit narrower since I'm all about a tall sidewall and not necessarily traction.

Man, you guys are daring with your wheels and tires. I have seen hundreds of issues with people who have rub and then take their rides off-road assuming they will be ok, only to walk away with $1,000’s in damage to their car body, suspension, wheels and tires. To each his own I guess.

@Treihing, thanks for your thoughts and I'm pretty new to the aftermarket wheel scene so your warning prompted some investigation on my part. I've showed the rub to a few off-road enthusiast friends including a fabricator that builds overland campers as his business and they all have confirmed that these wheels, while cutting it close, are safe for the vehicle. I was able to get it off-road on a camping trip last weekend that was about as crazy as I'm planning to take it (including getting 2 wheels in the air) and there were thankfully no issues. The rub is only about a 16th of an inch at full lock and it's in the vertical wall of the wheel well so it won't be made worse by suspension travel. There are no clearance issues under the fender or at the control arms. Like I said, I'm pretty new to this aspect, so if something is an issue in the future, I'll post about it.

@Jdeans99, from what I can surmise, I think your math is valid. A wheel with 10mm more offset would help with the rubbing I have and I think you could even get away with the wider wheel, so the narrower one you've mentioned should be fine. If there's any measurements or photos that you'd like me to document, I'm happy to do so.

Those look really nice. Is the calibration you mention for correcting the minor speedometer change with taller tires or are you refering to the TPMS?

Service manager at my dealer told me they did it when they installed my wheels. My trip computer and external gps are accurate to each other, so it seems like it worked but I didn't watch him do it so there's always the possibility of shenanigans.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I will check the speedo with the stock tires and again with the bigger tires before I worry about it. Likely just going to 265/50R20. Almost an inch in height is not insignificant but if it is reading fast stock maybe it will be acceptable close with the bigger tires. Just signed on the Passport last Friday but it is still in route to the dealer.

Do you mind sharing what dealer did yours? I'm not near you but I could call them and get the scoop.
