Same thing here... I already replaced the rear turn signals and back-up lights, which where very easy to do but I have not tackled the front turn signals since it’s a more involved task.

If I remember correctly you will need to pull back the fender liner to access the front turn signals...

Does anyone have a picture of their turn signals that they have converted to LED. I'd like to see if it takes away the amber reflection of the stock bulb. I considered the Chrome incandescent turn signal bulb but the reviews say they are even less bright than the stock bulbs.

Guess using the latest Pilot LED front bumper replacement of amber turn signals will apply to our Passports'?

Being that they are rather small and placed low down on front bumper, I'd want those front amber LED's that folks facing me head-on can see them well. Is this correct? Also, what is LED series # for those front signal bulbs?

Waiting for Amazon to deliver my white, LED rear, backup (7443) bulbs soon. Those seem very easy to replace. Thanks in advance. e.

I did reverse and turn signals and thought I would share what worked for me:

Reverse Lights: Lasfit 7443 7440 7440 LED Reverse Backup Light Bulb Xenon White
You can reach these just by worming your hand up behind the rear bumper. With a slight counter clockwise twist the bulb fixture comes out. There is a picture in the owners manual page 583.

Rear Turn Signals: Lasfit 7440 7441 W21W WY21W CANBUS Anti Hyper Flash LED Turn Signal Lights Blinker Bulbs Amber Yellow
These produce an amber light. You need to pull out the entire rear brakelight assembly on each side (remove 2 phillips head screws and pull straight back). There is a picture in the owners manual page 582. The bulbs will only work one way, so test before re-assembling.

Front Turn Signals: Lasfit 7443 7444 CANBUS Error Free LED Turn Signal Light Anti Hyper Flash Amber Yellow
Standard Socket! These bulbs have TWO light circuits wired into them, a DIM and a BRIGHT. To match the stock install, both DIM and BRIGHT should be yellow/amber. The blinking in the front is actually a dim/bright/dim/bright sequence. You get to these bulbs by turning the front wheel inward, remove lower two screws in wheel well, pull out plastic inner fender enough to worm your hand in there. There is a picture in the owners manual on pg 581. The bulbs will only work one way, so test before re-assembling.

Stock front turn signal bulbs on the Elite are dual filament, 28w high 8w low. Also confirmed on pg 581 of the owners manual. Bulb sockets also have 2 circuits.

anyone try these?? for backup light 2019 passport

1156-LED Bulbs Reverse-Light 2800 Lumens Extremely Bright BA15S 1003 1141 7506 LED Bulb Used for Backup-light, Tail light, Brake light (Xenon White)

I took a closer look at the front turn signals with a multimeter, and BOTH filaments blink on/off/on/off in unison.

Not sure why Honda would do it that way, with the more expensive dual filament bulb acting like a single filament bulb. Maybe so when one filament fails, the other still gives some blinking? Meanwhile the computer can detect the drop in watts used and report a (partially) burned out bulb?

PERHAPS..

at the manufacturing level ... one or two filament is the same cost.. CLEARLY one less skew if used elsewhere on this and other vehicles..... one less skew times x multi thousands may make up for minisule extra filiment cost on acquisition.. If not the safety feature of non replacement when one breaks or the cost/skew costs.. then it would have to be a designer error or perhaps a design specification change when they locked down the production specs..

YMMV

? when you work in the automotive industry you realize automotive engineers sometimes just don’t think certain things through.
True

But they developed and sold more models and vehicles than I did... Yup some things get missed... Yup. Corvairs. And pintos and and.. get built and sold...

But .. at Honda's volumes and experience.. my first assumption is "they have/had" a reason... And in the total picture.. one or two filaments is noise...

Loose grab handles and trim.. are a bit higher on the list.. for safety and perhaps longevity.. perhaps.

All still worth discussion.. ......
