Hi guys, after doing some research I have decide go with 265/50/20 tires (Nitto Terra grabler G2)on stock elite wheel. Since I don't do much off roading, just occasionally drive my car on the beach for suf fishing. I think it is over kill to get a new set of 18s. I just want aggressive look of bigger tires. I will post some pics this coming Tuesday, hope the ride quality is better than stock tires.

Congrats, @Blazinmd I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the fit. I know a lot of folks on here are looking at the same tire and will benefit greatly from your willingness to be the first. Could you post pictures of the inside of the wheel well with the wheel turned to the full lock position, similar to my post here for comparison purposes?

Those look good, I would love to see them and hear how they fit & ride!

The 17/18" versions of those G-2's are on my radar for when the OEM tires are done and I plan to get new rims/tires at that time..

Great choice. Nitto makes some great tires.

Be mindful that unless you recalibrate the speedo, you'll be about 2mph faster with that added height.

That look amazing! very aggressive setup, but offset 35, I wouldn't dare go that low.

How can I recalibrate the speedo? Is it necessary? Thank you
I've read on this forum that some dealerships say you cannot and others have said you can recalibrate. You should try your dealership and ask them.

Is it necessary? *shrug* That's up to you but your speedo will be off.

Plug in the OEM tires and your new set up. You'll see what changes you possibly can have at different speeds --> https://tiresize.com/comparison/

Hi guys,
Quick update, after have a talk with my tire guy, I decide to switch to 265/50/20 Michellin Defender Ltx for better wet/snow condition. But it will look less aggressive than the Nitto. Anyway, I am hoping to get some pictures by tomorrow.

They look AWESOME, I bet they are a little noisy when going down the road?

Guys another option which works really well is a 275/45/20

The advantage to this size is that the new tire is only 1% larger in diameter but actually almost an inch taller then stock and almost 4% wider. The added side wall height creates more ground clearance and softens the ride over stock.

Plus it rolls at only 9 revolutions per mile slower than the stock fitment so you don’t kill the low end.

And if you go with an all terrain tire you can get a great off road look but not sacrificing street manners.

I’ve got Cooper Zenon LTZ’s on my Elite and love them!

I’ll post pics if anyone is interested.
