Congrats.

Location? How did you use the AC problem to get the free floor mats?

Bought the car in the Bay Area. I had a problem with the AC system that required it to be in the shop for almost two weeks, after driving it about 8 miles total. The engine actually cut out while in motion and threw itself into neutral. I had to pull it over and tried to get into a nearby parking lot. After turning the car on and off 9 times (got stuck at a left turn light for 3 red light cycles) I finally gunned it upon starting and heard a crazy loud noise from the engine. Went straight to the dealership to find my ac compressor was totally blown.

Complained to my sales rep and asked him to go to his manager to see what they could do for not having my new car right after I bought it. Could have asked for more, but I just wanted to drive my new car home. Haha.

purchased Modern Steel Metallic EX-L AWD with black interior for $39500 flat, price includes TTL(purchased in southern california).
cargo cover, floor mats, mudflaps, and wheel locks included as "free" accessories.

that being said, i have had multiple issues with the car and have a separate thread on the "fit/finish" and safety issues i have been having and had.

Not sure if this is the correct section to post this, since the car hasn't been bought yet.
I just received a quote for a White AWD Sport model for $30,531. It seems it's a tad under invoice, I wanted to get your opinion on the deal.

Try to get lower or is this a good deal?

There four Honda dealers within 50 miles of my hometown one in South Central PA. I listed each in descending order of proximity on a sheet of paper. I then priced the trade-in value of my 2012 Touring Pilot w/83k miles with Kelly BB, Edmonds and CR's and printed them out. The range of value was $9K to $17k. I took my dealer list paper and the print-outs with me and began my visit with the hometown dealer and showed them the valuations for trade-in from the on-line resources, shown them the dealer list and told them I won't pay more than $30k for the Elite. If you won't meet my terms I'm going down the list until one of the other dealers does. They gave me $15k for the Pilot and I had a new Luna Elite for $30k with running boards in two days.
Nice! Where did you end up buying and who was your salesperson?

Touring, AWD, White and *black.
MSRP: 42,225 and
paid: 37,688.00
No accessories, except changed out the *black (seats) interior for #121 Tan. The dealer used Custom Soft Trim CST as their interior installer. This was $2000.00 more for the interior. Looks so much better!

Is your $37,688 price before or after TTL?
