@ProdGirl , I've been using these little aluminum steps that clip onto your door latch for easy access to the roof. They're cheap, strong, and stow perfectly in the back door pocket. They might help.

I have the same and use a little ladder a picked up from here to get to the little step that I also picked up from here, and it works out great for shortish me ?

I live in a state with a lot of gravel on the roads and a high likelihood of front end rock chips etc. these passports have really open front bumpers/grills that make the radiator quite vulerable to rocks and debris.

Im wondering if anyone has looked into a mesh screen cover to fit over the radiator to protect from rocks. Such things are common on working pickups and offroaders cars, rally cars, etc. just wondering if anyone has seen a pilot/ridge/passport solution.

I’m definitely thinking about Jsports skid plate in the future (see p 11 of this thread) as I’m on many fire roads in northern MN but at close to 400 I’m thinking of doing my own mesh type of protection/next weekend it all starts for me heading up north which will be my 1st test/maybe I would rather pay 400 to put the dock in as the water is cold asf ???
