Executed a very clumsy and illegal U turn on the street today. Put PP in D, u turn, quickly shift to R, backup, shift to D, complete u turn.

Felt like 2nd string offensive lineman trying to tap dance, not good, don’t recommend.

What’s the point? Don’t pull turns or the passport is a pain in the arse to fast shift forward/ reverse
I think the point is that for fast u-turns, the sequence of gear shifts with the electronic shifter is just a tad slower than a stick shifter (or at least more practice is needed to exactly hit the right button each time). I have experienced this myself. Something to think about for u-turns against opposing approaching traffic.
