Bummer. I scuffed my driver's side rear wheel of my two-week old Passport Sport yesterday, while entering a parking garage at work. It's a narrow, gated entry and I cut the turn a little too close and brushed the curb. After the initial shock, horror and heartbreak, I realized this car is prone to this problem by its wheel design. I covered the scratch with glossy, black touchup paint for now but I'm considering getting a better repair done in the future. I really don't want to spend more money on the Passport, since it was on the highest end of my price range to begin with. Do Honda dealerships do wheel refinishing at reasonable cost? Would I be better off at a tire and rim business? I'm in the Waterbury CT area. Dealer was Lorensen's Honda of Watertown.

Welcome to the Forum: I feel your pain, "W1AMJ", I did the same thing on my gray (Touring) passenger side rim, when mine was about 2 weeks old. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear/find a match for the gray rims, so I'll just live with it...

You can check with you dealer but chances are they farm that type of work out, so you may end up with a tire/rim place anyway and cut out the "middle-man (Dealer) could save you some money.

My long term plan is to buy some after-market 18" Rims with higher side-wall tires after the OEM tires wear out...
