All Passports have LED low beams. Touring/Elite have an inline reflector LED arrangement (high and low beams). Sport/EX-L have projector LED low beam with a halogen reflector high beam.

But I think it would be hard to judge performance of one vs the other without having a direct side-by-side comparison at the same time.

Assuming they are the same as the CRV, my wife says she hates cars with bright LEDs. Now, she says, she's that person... :)
There is a difference. people that modify headlights typically will make others uncomfortable with bright white or blueish white lights. OEM typically gives the driver that light without issue to oncoming drivers.

IIHS conducts headlight tests on various car models. However, they didn't test the 2019 Passport yet. I am assuming that the Passport has the same headlights as the Pilot, which has "Good" rating for Elite and Touring trims (LED low/high), and "Acceptable" for LX, EX and EX-K trims (LED low/Halogen high).

On their website they have a lot more details about the headlight performance. Have a look:

Hi everyone. First post here on the forum. I am very interested in how the Touring and Elite LED headlights perform. I think visually they look a lot better than the lower trim levels. The problem I have is, I always thought projectors were better than reflectors. The upgraded trim gets the lesser technology.

Something else I found odd, the top trims of the Ridgeline appear to have the same LED projector low beam and halogen reflector high beam as the lower trims on the Pilot and Passport. On the IIHS website, the top trim Ridgeline gets a Good headlight grade. The lower trim Pilots, with what I'm assuming are the same headlights, only get acceptable. It's almost like they reserved the Good grade for the upper trims of the Pilot so they had to rate the lower trims one step down. Otherwise, people wouldn't see the reflector headlights as an upgrade. It's almost like its all marketing.

Any thoughts?

Traded 2017 Pilot EXL for Passport Touring. The LED headlights are one of my favorite upgrades, outstanding performance.

The headlights on the Touring are GREAT!(y)(y) I've never had LED lights and they make a huge difference. Everything is nice and sharp and not yellowish tinted like the old headlights. Although oncoming traffic always flashes me like I have my brights on when I don't.:giggle: I think LED headlights should be a required safety feature!

Hmm, wonder if they are aimed wrong. If aimed correctly no one should need to flash the brights at you. Is this happening to others with LED?
