While making my purchase decision, I was frustrated that I couldn't find any photos that showed how the hitch would integrate into the rear bumper with the Adventure Package. Here's the photos from when we picked up our Passport from the dealer with the hitch installed.

Appreciate you sharing these. I was hoping that it would be discreet and hidden and it looks like that's the case. What are you planning on towing with it? Curious to see what sort of fuel economy this car will get with a proper load.
I'll be using the hitch receiver for mounting a camera rig as part of my company as well as pulling small camping trailers. I'm looking into some of the AirBNB style camper rental sites to try out various styles. I plan to buy a trailer some time down the road and I'd like to start learning what I like. Does anyone have any experience with Outdorsy or RVShare?

Nice rig / did u do the transmission cooler thing so u can tow at 5k? I didn’t as I only pull a single atv / there was some false info out there that said elites come with them and that’s not the case - who knows as that is what my great dealer said but we all know their not 100% right on all of the time - my Passport is in right now getting fun things added including a hitch and lighting but no ‘cooler’.

It's a good question. The salesperson told us that all of the AWD transmissions have the cooler standard, but that's not the way I read it on the Honda website. I'm not planning to tow anything close to 5k lbs at the moment, but I'm planning to have a mechanic confirm it before I do.

I’m on mobile and hard to tell. Did the cut out the opening or do they install a new piece? On my lil phone kind of looks like they took a dremmel and cut it out
I asked at the dealer new piece for the rear hitch and they said they cut it out so I bet they use a dremmel on mine too...

Not sure what piece you are talking about but if its the one on the bottom half of the bumper that the hitch goes thru..no they don't cut it ,it has about 8 different screws, bolts and plastic tabs that need to come off and then you replace it with the one that comes with the hitch..I just got mine delivered and the replacement panel is included in the box.Im just waiting for a nice day to install it.

Sweet / that was the piece and glad to know they don’t cut it out, I was going off of what I was told a few times - phew / spend this much on a vehicle and... ?

Thanks for the picture. What trip is your Passport? I believe the elite trim has black glossy lower portion of the bumper. From you image it seems that the replacement part is matte. Can you confirm that it will lose the black glossy lower bumper when the hitch is installed? Thanks.
