I've tried 3 different flash drives, all were 16gb. Tried uploading only a few songs. No luck. Oh well, I'll just keep playing my MP3 files directly from my my flash drive as I've been doing.

After a few attempts, I reformatted my 16gig USB drive to Fat32 and presto, it worked . . . it had been Fat64 . . .

. . . so perhaps try reformatting the drive and then recopy the files over . . .

Original poster here with an update...
My system reported there was a software update ready to be installed, so I did that and out of curiousity I tried uploading to My Honda Music. It now works! All the previous suggestions in this thread were unsuccessful, so apparently there was something in the old software preventing file uploads.

The system also now "speaks" received texts, which it wouldn't do before the recent software update.
