Hi,
Owner of a 2018 accord sport 2.0t and looking to add another Honda to the garage.

Going to ‘look’ Wednesday at a passport ex-l. I say look because we have a GMC Terrain with 8 months left on a lease.

I might be willing to eat a bit because we need a bigger vehicle and I’m really ready to be done with the terrain (wife’s choice when we got it).

MSRP on the passport I’m looking at is about 39. I’m in the south suburbs of Chicago.

Do I go in at 35, which I believe is close to invoice? Any insight is appreciated.

Welcome, it's been a while since I compared models, but the Touring model had a number of upgrades that made it worth it for me. I suggest checking the "Price Paid" thread.

I got very little on my negotiation on April 13, because of low to no inventory.

I was adamant about modern steel color and wanted a Touring model. They didn’t exist in CA, NV or AZ since February. So on April 12 the dealership closest to me called with an elite.

I was able to negotiate a 6 year warranty for the price of 5, a few hundred off the dealer alarm (KAHU) which turned out to be a GPS tracker system and some spray that protects the paint and interior. I also got $1k off if I financed for 7 months. The finance chargers were about $125/month so it was still a deal. I was willing to pay cash.

But then I add on the custom ceramic window tint for almost $900, running boards, all weather mats, cargo mat, splash guards (don’t recall all those costs), a clear bra protection for rock chips for $1800,
The dealer wouldn’t throw in any of the accessories.
