Anyone have any issues with the infotainment system? Suddenly no audio, no sound for any connected device or even radio. Some features state it won’t work while car is moving- car is stopped; some say it won’t work while car is off - car is on and vice versa.

Have you tried a hard reboot? In my CRV, you could hold down the volume knob for several seconds and the system would reboot. Worth a try.

I’m at the dealership now with what is likely the same problem. While I was driving, the audio stopped. No sound. Can’t find tuner.

The really bad part of it is the central display won’t turn off when car is turned off. Tried the hard reset. Thankfully, this happened while the dealership is open so I took it in when I ran out of ideas.

this has happed to me let me know how u do. i have a usb keyboard and i hit ctl,alt ,delete to reboot info system. i also have an issue w carplay and siri on my iphone x

As I reported there, Honda knows of the issue, which they believe to be software related (no surprise). They're going to issue a software update once they have a fix. In the meantime, they say to do a "hard" reboot by either disconnecting the battery or removing and replacing the 15-amp "Radio/USB" fuse in the engine compartment. The latter is the easier to do, but I'm likely going to purchase a USB keyboard since that is easier still.

Strangely enough, Honda doesn't seem to be aware of the Cntl-Alt-Del reboot, which I think most folks would prefer over messing around in the engine compartment.

Gotta ask, what's the prod dates of your Passports?

Im trying to get one with March or even April date... Obviously the thinking is that these minor issues will be corrected on the line.

Since this is a software issue they haven’t yet been able to fix, I doubt a later model will be any different in this regard.

The Infotanment issue happened to me today! I’ll take it to the dealer this week for the reset. Any updates on if there is a better fix than swapping fuses or disconnecting batteries? You think a software update would be coming. We were listening to music on Spotify thru CarPlay when it happened. Now no audio, nav or rear camera.

Just to be clear, what Honda suggested wasn’t swapping the fuse, just pulling it out and putting it back in. Still not the ideal solution, but not as bad as having to purchase a new fuse.

I don’t think it has to be wireless. It just needs to be a USB keyboard.

I still need to get a cheap keyboard to stow in my PP. I keep hoping the software fix will get announced.

Unfortunately, they do. Every time I get a new computer at work, I have to switch out the d**n corded keyboard!

As far as frequency, it’s happened to me once (almost 6k miles). Some advise that you should wait until the system loads before plugging in your phone. I’ve started to do that...don’t know if it really makes a difference, but the problem hasn’t reappeared.

Thanks. I pulled and re-inserted the 15A fuse and it didn’t fix it. Emailed my dealer contact. Not sure what else to do in the mean time. Didn’t want to mess with it too much

Did the power to the display turn off? If not, which fuse did you pull? When I had the fuse box lid off, the service manager and I both couldn’t figure out which one at first. He went back to the tech and was told “Radio/USB”.

As the system had already been reset and was working normally, I didn’t pull the fuse again to make sure he was told the correct one.

The display did not turn off when I pulled the fuse. I tried the lower amp fuses. I started with the 15 based on a Pilot forum with a similar issue

You apparently pulled the wrong one. Once the correct fuse is pulled, there is no power going to the display. Was it #29 - Radio/USB?
