Presenting my 2019 Passport Elite in Modern Steel Metallic with Black Leather. Dealer installed modifications/options: splash guards, door edge trim, cargo tray, and pinstripes.

Up first for me is removing the the pinstripes. Roof cross bars are on order as well as the Honda cargo cover and WeatherTech all weather floor mats. Pix to follow once those items are received and installed.

Future modifications:
front side windows tinted
wheels and tires (probably 18")
intake
exhaust
roof basket

As received from the dealership on 03-Mar-2019:

Looks good dude / did u have to pay for the Tran cooler or was it there / can’t imagine it came with it as Honda just loves to ‘nickel and dime’ us so maybe someday if I need to tow more than 3500 lbs ?
Thanks bro.

Yes, I went all in so I have the option to tow up to 5,000 lbs. The ATF cooler is necessary to have the max available for towing. It was one of the items on the parts list installed by the dealer. Yeah, wasn't inexpensive (at least to me), parts and installation was $2,000 but I will add when I was negotiating my purchase the dealer moved on the trade-in value to get to my price point. They did not move on their hitch install cost. FWIW another dealer quoted me $1,600 for the same components with installation -- but they would not move on their selling price. End of the day I was able to purchase at my price with the hitch components installed. (y) (y) (y)

Ouch, 2k for the hitch. Since I need 5000 towing I’m going to have to wait this out and see if prices drop some more.
Parts are going to run you $800 or more so keep that in mind. What you'll need to shop around is the installation cost.

Received the cargo cover from HondaPartWorld. Also ordered the roof crossbars at the same time. Both said they shipped on the same date but the crossbars are not arriving, per UPS, until 15-Mar-2019. Not sure what happened but not impressed with HondaPartWorld at the moment.

Likewise disappointed with the cargo cover. About a 4" gap between the rear seat and the cover. So much for concealing your cargo.

They are all the way back in the picture with some recline. Checked it fully reclined and it did not close that gap.

Well UPS delivered the crossbars today. No idea WTF was going on with the shipping information. Anyway, have a weekend project. (y)

Added the crossbars this evening.

Using the "defined" spots for the crossbars the distance is about 29" (outside to outside). As the crossbars curve, the height off the roof at the rail is about 3.5" and I'd guess it's about 4" from the roof in the middle.

Very nice, do you plan to put something up there?
Yes, looking into roof baskets. Not a fan of the Honda basket's shape and size. I'd like to have the basket be as wide as the entire crossbars or even to the rails. The OEM basket looks "small" to me when on the roof (at least in the pictures, haven't seen in person).

Among the list:

Yakima Megawarrior -- https://www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/Yakima/Y07080.html

Rockymounts 14'er -- https://www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/RockyMounts/RKY1054.html

Rola Atlas -- https://www.etrailer.com/Roof-Basket/Rola/59043.html

Leaning towards the 14'er.

My clone roof basket arrived. Looks like I've got a weekend project. (y)

Probably going to pick up some waterproof clear silicone sealant and apply around the welds. I've read some reviews that is the area suspect to potential rust. I live in Florida and my rig is parked outside at work so it's gonna get wet.

Installed the roof basket. I like it. I'm glad I went with this size and nothing bigger (e.g. Yakima Megawarrior). Specs are ~53" long, ~44" wide, and ~5" high.

What I'm not a fan of is the mounting hardware. I read other reviews saying you need to trim the bolts down otherwise they'll cause challenges with gear in the basket. So that'll have to be trimmed down and then add some rubber end "caps" over the exposed bolts -- but at a later date.

How is the noise factor if you can report back tomorrow / interested if u can hear it through ur sunroof closed maybe at 35mph as I haven’t had one before either
Under 50mph it isn't bad. Can it be heard, to me: yes. Radio can drown it out. But it's not any type of annoying whistle as I've read elsewhere about roof baskets.

All is relatively good until you clear 70mph. Then it starts to get much louder but nothing to make me want to pull it off the rig. Now, this was a couple miles on the freeway. Not sure how it'll be with some extended miles.

Caveat from me: I'm used to aftermarket intakes and exhausts making all kinds of noise for me. I've never had a "quiet" vehicle.

Some more time with the roof basket. Took a longer trip this past weekend with some highway miles. You can hear the "whoosh" sound but nothing annoying to me. I still was able to get 24+ mpg using cruise control at 72 mph with the basket mounted. Very happy with this.

I did recently open the sunroof during a local commute. No doubt the basket makes a whistling sound (you hear the whoosh when it's closed). Unless you have all the windows down and the radio playing, the basket - with the sunroof open - can be annoying. This was disappointing but I have to admit I don't use the sunroof much here in central Florida. Too HOT.

I just hope they fit. I was looking at the XD129 Holeshot wheels but everywhere, including KMC, was saying they would not fit. Per KMC, nothing below 18" wheels will fit on the Passport. However, Tirerack has the XD129 listed as a choice for the Passport. Even their chat discussion said they are "guaranteed to fit".

Not sure what to think but I'm glad I'm purchasing through a local Discount Tire store. If there are any problems I have no doubts Discount Tire will make it right -- they always have.
