I did PlastiDip on the front bumper insert and front and rear logos on my GTI and it lasted years...I was thinking about doing the emblems on the passport but mine is touring, and the touring badge is not the same as the elite so it would look like a black rectangle

I think I put 5-6 coats on the GTI. Just go with what you feel. If it looks good at 5 stop. If go another one. It’s hard to screw it up.
