Yes, mine is a modern steel, and I think it looks much better with the back emblems blacked out. I'll get a pic of the entire back posted pronto. I simply used a few coats of plasti dip. There are a few hundred Youtube clips on how to do it, and its really easy. And I left my emblems alone on my NFR S2000 but clacked out the ones on my Rio Yello Pearl S :)

The great thing about plasti dip is how you can remove and stat over. I did a hurried job, so that accounts for the roughness. I did the same to my Subie XT and that's held up great for the past 3 years, so applying 4-5 coats and taking your time pays off. Maybe i'll peel and restart this weekend :)

Wood tooth pick and some fine point tweezers. Use the wood toothpick to scrape thru the pastidip and then use the tweezers to pull out the excess. If the edges are hard to get with the tweezers, use the toothpick to rub the plastidip some more. You don't want to scrape with metal tweezers!
