Die cast is the way to go for durability. I had them on my 2017 Ridgeline RTL-E for 26 months. Constantly used drivers side to ingress/egress the truck. No noticeable wear in that time. Having them installed on my Elite Friday.

I went back and forth and decided on with the black running boards. I was on the fence until I saw the black and die cast on other vehicles. The die cast is a bit more rugged and the Elite Passport is so streamlined. I get them put on tomorrow and can post a photo or two.

Cool yeah, I'm going to get the Die Cast ones too and put them on myself, waiting for some of the dust to settle from all the other things I've adding... Very interested in seeing the pics of yours installed PG...

I’ll be sure to send photos your way tomorrow. What color passport did you get?

I’ll see if I can get a breakdown for labor and the accessories tomorrow, but they were $450 for the black, $675 for die cast, plus labor and tax in OC, CA.

Learned something new today. If you purchase via Honda's eStore you can have the parts sent to the dealership and have installation included in the price. My local dealer wanted $980 plus tax for the die cast running boards installed per their own pricing sheet. The eStore gave me an installed price of $725 plus tax. Pulled the trigger and ordered. I'll update through the process.

Can you please PM me what they are costing you?
These are the black slim line boards they just installed today. I think it was the better choice for the elite?

Also, sent you a PM about the Clear Bra company.

I would have - just don’t have the time. Before I leave again on Friday for 3 months...

Close yet so far away. I am a technical production manager for live events & some film work. Work is always on the road and I drive if it’s close enough.

I ordered the die cast today. $450 from https://www.handa-accessories.com/
I've done running boards on my Pilot and my son's RL. The instructions for these look a little simpler.
I took this into my local Honda dealer and the closest he get was $26 MORE, but to have them in hand, I'll just pay it, going back to buy them tomorrow - then I'll install them.

This definitely becomes analysis by paralysis. Figuring out shipping cost vs no tax, vs whole sale vs retail vs delivery time vs porch pirates vs in stock vs out of stock...augh!

I ordered the die cast boards today from my local dealer. He matched the online price including their shipping. They’ll be here tomorrow and it looks like an hour or 2 for install.

Honda mats went in today and mud flaps go on tomorrow.
