I am getting the black with lights just because I think it will go best with my black pearl finish.

I installed the black running boards with lights. They are a 10/10. They look great during the day (Passport logo and like the black with my pearl black elite). At night WOW! Brighter than I expected and that is a very good thing. Really lights up the ground around the car. Plus I also had the back welcome lights installed and it totally matches the brightness of the running board lights. Surround lighting and is functional and just looks cool. I love the boards and am very glad I selected these. They exceeded my expectations! Installed by my dealer.

No illumination to the back compartment. They shine down from underneath the bumper.
