Just wondering where others are placing transponders on the windshield so that it does not interfere with the Front Sensor Camera, is not in the way of the driver, and still registers in the toll lanes. I believe that I read somewhere that it should be placed at least 6 inches away from the camera.

I put my transponder (EZ-Pass) just below the area on the windshield with the black tint by about 1/4 inch (6mm) or so. Not sure how far that is from the actual camera. This placement has the transponder behind the rear-view mirror so out of my line of sight.

Some of the cars here in Fl. have tinted windshields and end up putting transponders above your head on the inside of the moonroof. I've done it, never had an issue. You never really see it and will not interfere with operation of the moonroof.
