I was told by my dealer that the current “drop date” is February 4th and prices will be out roughly 1 month prior. He also said Honda is pretty good at meeting their dates once advertised to dealers.

Another question will be on how the dealers are going to mark these vehicles. I'm thinking that there's not gonna be a lot of room for price negotiations...especially if there's a demand/wait list.

EVERY Car dealer holds back the big discounts when a new model is first released. I'm hoping sales have leveled off by April, which is my time frame for my next vehicle purchase.

My Dealer in Ontario said they will be getting the Passport around the end of February.

They have been rolling off the assembly line since November so my guess is a large chunk of initial orders are sitting on a processing lot waiting for shipment to their final destination.

My local dealer just notified me of 2 that are being built for them. A Touring and Elite. No word on colors just yet. I should hear more this week. I’ll be on-site once they arrive. More pictures to come!

Looks good, thanks for the post, nice to know they are slowly being sent out to the dealers!

A couple of observations:
1) It funny how everyone likes to say the Passport fits in between the CRV & Pilot: If that was the case, you would expect to see it priced between the CRV & the Pilot: my guess is that it is going to be priced only slightly less than the Pilot.
2) At around 1:42, he opens the back door and talks about "all the leg space" but if you look at the video, it appears that the front passenger seat is all the ways back, as there is NOT much leg/foot space at all...

The Passport was at CES demo’ing the Honda apps. I asked a few Honda reps about release dates and received answers from: By end of January, sometime in Q1, and early Spring. Bottom line is I haven’t a clue after asking the direct question to several reps. I did snap a few nonprofessional shots of the underside. They wouldn’t allow the rear hatch to be opened. I wanted to take some measurements.

I was told 2/7/19 is the official “on-Sale” date. Pricing will be released about a week or so before that via Honda News

Keep checking hondanews.com as they’ll have it first. You won’t be able to “build-it” on the main site until the on sale day however.

Thanks for posting those pics. That color looks fantastic - would probably be my first choice.

You know, until now, the 20" wheels were not a concern of mine. But I'm seeing what the guys are talking about in the other threads - the low profile tires don't seem to go with the nature of the vehicle. I don't think it's a "deal-breaker", but I can understand why a smaller wheel/beefier tire might be desirable.

Anyone else?
