I like to carry a spare car key with me when I travel on long road trips. I carry it in my pocket at all times, while always using the primary key. Now that I have key fobs, what is the best way to do this? What are the implications of having both key fobs with me when I enter the car?

Hi! I keep one fob wrapped in foil under a floormat. If I take a walk and lose the Fob in my pocket somewhere, I had a spare valet key made, cut off the top (to fit in my wallet) allowing enough for me to turn the key in the door lock and get in the vehicle.
