I need Thule to step up and identify a roof rack for my Passport! I haul a kayak and love my Thule Hullavator and want to use it on the Passport so it's easy to load/unload the kayak! Anybody figure out where to attach bow and stern tie downs? Be nice if they had tow rings that you can install for this. Front end looks all plastic underneath haven't crawled under the back end yet.

Get a set of Thule Rapid Crossroad footpacks for square bars and use a set of Thule 58” or 65” square bars for said footpack. The rails on the Passport are indentical in cross-sectional shape to the rails on the Ridgeline, and Thule approves of this setup on the Ridgeline. Thule also makes a set of aero-bars and a Crossroad footpack for them; however, I think they are unsightly and I prefer the traditional square bar appearance. I’ve had this set of bars and feet for about 15 years. Mine are 58 inches, but the Passport could easily tolerate 65’s. Also installed my kayak stacker and paddle holder.

Here is a pic. I’m posting the rest on the “What did you do to your Passport” subforum.

Glad to see we’ve got that sorted out! I wish I had a set of 65’s, but since the 58’s are what I’ve got I’ll roll with them. I’ve got about 2” overhang beyond the footpacks, hopefully enough to wind excess rope onto.
