I purchased Covercraft's sunshade for a "2019 Pilot Touring w/ Honda Sensing" since they didn't have the Passport listed yet. Was a little nervous initially because a video reviewer (I forget which) said the Passport's front windshield visibility was better than the Pilot's (via thinner A pillars).

Relieved to say it's a perfect fit!

Anything special about a Covercraft sunshade vs a less expensive "generic" sunshade?

This is my first time purchasing a non-generic one -- Covercraft's is "custom" cut to a specific car's windshield size so there are no gaps or corners exposing the interior to sunlight (save for a tiny bit on the sides that's necessary to install/remove the sunshade).

The material doesn't bend at all, except at the creases where it's supposed to (to fold the sunshade up for storage). It's extremely thick/durable and somewhat heavy. The thickness is likely better at preventing the car interior from heating up, but when installed with the sun visors down, the sunshade weighs on the sun visors a bit. I am slightly concerned about the visor hinges getting loose over time because of this, but I'm probably just being paranoid!

This is the review (beginning at 8:02) that has me waiting for a Passport specific sunshade, even though something tells me he's not correct ...

That's the video review I was referring to! I watched it after I already purchased the sunshade online. I live in South Florida and don't have covered parking in my apartment complex, so I didn't really want to wait for a Passport specific release. I'll post a picture later today of the fit.

Dang, I ordered three things from WeatherTech yesterday and could have piggy-backed one of these, but I do like the Covercraft one as well, actually, I need to go try the Universal Sun Shade I used in my last car first...

I got the UVS100 shade on Amazon for $60 from a third party seller (Driver Modz), and when the package came, I noticed it was shipped directly from Covercraft.

What's the difference between the different types (USV100 vs whatever) of Covercraft shades? Also, do they fold up accordian style?

I'm honestly not sure. It's my first Covercraft purchase and I went with their most popular model. I can't speak to the other ones, but it looks like most people get the standard UVS100, looking at the number of product ratings on their site.

And yep, it folds up accordion style!

Just noticed Covercraft updated their website to include the Passport. It's the same sunshade model as the one that fits the Pilot/Ridgeline (UV11473). Hope that helps anyone who's still looking.
