While I was hoping that the new Passport would stray away from Honda's current design language, a lot of industry chatter suggests it will be very closely related to that of the pilot. From the teaser video that Honda dropped it does look like it will feature a shorter rear overhang, a less upright tailgate and possibly a shorter wheelbase.

I think Honda has done enough to differentiate them, except with maybe pricing. Curious if any early adopters will get their destination charge waved.

I think the Passport front looks more truck-like whereas the Pilot looks more van-like and as far as the rear ends: the Passport looks more SUV-like, while the Pilot looks more Van-like..

Yes, it is relateded to the road worthy Pilot. But they have changed it to make it look more Masculinet, taller, shorter, exhaust sound, front end and the rearend reminds me of the 1990’s SUVs. I think Honda has hit a sweat spot with the new Passport,
