This seems to happen often, I went through a Starbucks drive thru and drove on the curb pulling away and thought for sure that ‘was going to leave a mark’ (Tommy Boy reference ?) but I was fine, this time...

would going with the chrome wheels rather than the painted wheels hide scuff marks better?

Depends, I picked up a few cans of plastic-dip from Amazon last night and there was a pic of a chrome like wheel and it looked bad before - who knows they could have hit the curb really hard
