Yes, they need to comp you for your time. Like the money you lost from work.Honda already has $1000 of my deposit $. I took a day off to get my car delivered and I got a call at 5:15 PM from the salesperson stating there was a "glitch" ... He tried to explain the telematics update issue. When I asked when the update could happen, he didn't have an answer. Probably in a matter of days, he said. I have to call my insurance company and put everything on hold.
What would be my chances of recovering my deposit because Honda can't deliver a car in prime working order as promised ? This is not good !!!
At least for the amount of money and your own time is valuable. If they don't comp you for
it in a discount or accessories. Then Pull out since they failed on their promise to you, for you to leave the deposit in the first place. They owe you something.
