I am a current owner of a 2012 CRV. Thinking about adding 2019 Passport EX-L. It is end of the year clearance and dealerships want room for 2020 models. I am a hard bargainer and I was quoted a price of $34,015 plus taxes, title, registration. However they want to charge me an additional $500 if they have to get the color vehicle I want from another dealership. I have been with Honda for 30 years, and we keep our vehicles over the long haul.
What do you think of clearance price? Is $500 to get me a vehicle at another dealership standard practice? No interest incentives currently, what is your best interest rate for financing through Honda?

I got the $500 waived from using a previous sales person I worked with (who was out that day). I did have a particular color in mind, but when I saw it, it didn't appeal to me. No more internet sales contacts.
