...goes unpunished. Made a house call today to drain a post-operative seroma on a friend who recently had breast cancer and a mastectomy. The driveway is a dirt road about 1/2 mile from the pavement. On the way out, I heard a “pop” and three seconds later TPMS came on. After putting on the spare, I went home found a 2 - 3” gash on the sidewall and the rim is ruined.

My Passport is four days old. Like I have always done, I declined all the expensive add-on warranty crap when I bought it, so I guess I’m screwed. Any ideas how much a new rim and tire is going to cost me?

I’m thinking seriously about taking all of them off and replacing them with 18” wheels and better tires. Might this be a better route?

I saw the Touring Rims on eBay for $250

Thanks man. It's an Elite trim and I think they are different color and maybe width.

I knew that those 20" wheels and low profile tires would be a problem off road and even on-road with my teen drivers. I already replaced them with the 18" Ridgeline wheels and Michelin Defender LTX tires. Here is a link to the wheels:
