I'm looking forward to customizing my 2019 Passport :)

Here's what I've ordered so far:
  1. Covercraft sunscreen (Amazon)
  2. 3D Maxpider first and second row Kagu Rubber floor mats (Amazon)
  3. Honda cargo tray for the PP (Bernardi)
  4. Key Fob cover (Amazon)

And here's what I'm thinking about adding:
  1. LED lights for the full interior
  2. Front and read dashcam (may reuse the one I have)
  3. Opticoat ceramic exterior coating
  4. Cargo net or keep a weeks worth of groceries from sliding around in the back.

I actually ordered this a couple of days before getting my PP so I'd have it around when the PP was with me: Gold Shield 5L - Car Cover for Honda Passport 2019 SUV 4-Door (link).

Fit is good. You can see it covers all the way past 50% of the tires. 1 nit is that the plastic buckles on the two straps go over the body when you drape it on the SUV. I don't like that and may just cut the straps off as the cover has tautness to it without the straps and won't blow off. Or I might tape the buckle to the outside of the cover and then drape it over the PP. The interior is soft and felt like and I think it won't scratch the paint.

Got my Covercraft sunshade today and it's a disappointment for me. Theres a good 1-2" gap in coverage along the drivers edge of the windshield. I'm going to keep looking for something that covers more windshield real estate.

Got my LED order from superbrightleds.com. I ordered a couple of different bulbs in different colour temps to find out which we like best.

The vanity mirrors had only a single option - here it is on the left with stock on the right:

And for the rest of the cabin I'm trying out Warm White (WW), Natural White (NW) and Cool White (CW).

Here's the WW LEDs in the front. May try the other colour temps in the 2nd and 3rd row for a while before deciding on one.

I've also received an LED for the glove box but won't get around to installing that until the weekend.

Finally got my Cup Holder Hero liners: https://cupholderhero.com/products/passport?variant=29389839892598

Here's my review:
  • Good quality overall
  • Not an exact fit / precision fit (like same some floor liners) - but very close. I have no issues with them.
  • Not super easy to figure out the orientation when installing - it's really a puzzle as they claim in the manual :p
  • Adds even more character to the inside of the PP ;)
  • Will help prevent rattling to some extent when you place coins and such in any of the bins.
  • Didn't realise I would get any liner for the cargo area and was super please I they provide 2 for the smaller cargo bins.
  • Wish they had a liner for the central console storage area and the under floor storage in the back.
Front console and coin tray:

Front doors:

Rear doors:

Forgot to take a picture of the rear in seat cup holders. Those would need the 2 sided tape else one liner always keeps popping out when you put away the armrest.

Cargo area:

Overall very happy with this purchase. Will report back on how easy it is to clean them and how useful they turn out to be.

Key covers

I tried this at first: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RSSMVNR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and promptly decided I didn't like it. It was hard to know if you hit a button or not because of lack of tactile feedback. The light cutout wasn't clear either. The horn button didn't have a label on top of it. It was super hard to put on or remove. You couldn't remove the key while the cover was on.

I found silicone covers and I love them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N9G0ZX9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The detail for the buttons is great. They feel great in my hand and have a lot less bulk that the previous cover. I think these are really minimalist which is what I like. You need to peel back the cover a bit to access the latch for the key. The light cutout is great too. And the logo cutout adds style. :)

One of my peeves is driving around with the dealers name anywhere on the vehicle. So I had to search for a plate holder. Continuing the silicone trend I picked up these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CV5PLFM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
I am impressed with them. I'm still on temporary printouts so we'll see how well the plates from the DMV fit in them. They have a 6 colours available which is nice if you want to create a touch of colour on your vehicle or just want it to blend in. The nice thing with them being silicone is no rust that could happen on metal and not as brittle as plastic. I also think that these would be the least damaging to any painted areas they come into contact with. Attached a rear shot and closeup that shows the pattern (which probably doesn't matter since it will be covered by your plates ;) )

Now all I have left to do is plastidip those silver screws
