Hats off to the service department/tech and for Honda giving the green light for a transmission remove and replacement. It is all too common for a person to go through a long 1 month+ process going back and forth with the dealer for whatever reason they don't want to do the work (even though the factory reimburses the dealership for parts and labor) and then go a couple of rounds back and forth with a factory technician for issue like this.

Out of curiosity, how soon did the service department get you back on the road after they diagnosed an apparently bad transmission including part(s) delivery?
