I'm in Southern California and we just finalized the deal on our new Passport Touring AWD, Modern Steel with Black Interior and the Adventure B Package and some Black Rhino 18" Wheels. It'll take a couple of days to get all of the accessories added to it, so I'm hoping to take delivery by the weekend. The dealer was very helpful in finding exactly the car I was after. Thanks to this forum and a few test drives, we went in with a specific vehicle in mind and New Century Honda in Glendale was able to find us a match. I'm looking forward to sharing the details of the Passport and I'm grateful to the members of this forum for helping me feel confident in my choice of vehicle and in the deal we made. I'll post pictures of my Passport when it comes, but in the mean time I took a couple of shots of a demo Sport model that is similarly built out to what I've ordered. Loving the Modern Steel look!

Looks much better with the 18 inch wheels and bigger tire wall.

Car looks amazing, and that wheel setup is way better than what they've provided from factory. Happy to hear that your dealer was more than willing to work with you to help you get everything spec'd to your liking. What other things are you waiting on to get installed? Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Congrats. Need lots of pics when you get yours!

I think we'll start seeing dealers upfit some Passports with Adventure packages and aftermarket wheels. Jeep dealers do this and it's effective at drawing people to come take a look. Great for buyers who want their rig ready to rock 'n' roll as soon as they drive off the lot.

Your car is sharp. I bought the pearl black elite. It was on the lot and I really liked it. However, I did consider the modern steel from pictures on Honda’s website. It would have been a tough choice had that been on the lot too. The only other Passport on the lot was a white EX-L.

@GlennW, the tire isn't listed as a snow tire, although in another forum, I did find some info from Nitto...

"In regards to your question, to start off the Ridge Grappler is a mud and snow rated tire. We do have customers that have ran these tires in winter conditions such as yours back east and have heard back positive feedback."

"Now, for more severe winter conditions we normally advise customers of the EXO Grappler. These are for customers looking for a more dedicated winter tire. It is made up of a more durable compound than any of our Grappler tires which allows it to resist the effects of colder temperatures. The tread pattern is also designed to provide traction in those conditions as well. It is the only of our Grappler tires with a 3 peak mountain snowflake rating."
