What’s up everyone!

Just picked up 2019 Black Touring Passport for $38,580 on Saturday. The dealer was great to work with and the deal came with All Season Mats, Cargo Tray and Cargo Cover. Absolutely love this thing.

Is that the AWD version? I bought the AWD Touring in black 2 weeks ago. The price was $38,600 but once they added tax and fees, destination, dealer add ons (all season mats, cargo tray, Mudd flaps, etc) I was out the door at 42k even.

Welcome to the forum Treihing, sounds like you scored yourself a great deal. If more dealers were willing to negotiate and throw in some extra equipment, I think we'd be seeing even more new owners joining up. What car were you driving previously? Congrats.

Awesome and great choice as Passports rock and I also had a 4Runner / granted it was older (2015 limited) with a special suspension too and it rode really rough on paved roads where I used it 90% of the time but was smooth like butter the other 10% so it just didn’t fit me and the Passport is more refined for sure

I had a 2019 4Runner. One horrid piece of junk.
To be fair, I would not call it junk. It is purposely built and very capable vehicle. However, being a daily driver, is not it's strength. For that purpose, there are much better vehicles on the market and Passport is one of them.

If one wants to change a life style and embarck on overlanding journey through undevelop back roads, 4Runner is one of the best affordable options. Maybe in retirement :)

Oh, I would call it junk. Go drive one for three months and I bet you will agree. 99% of car purchases are daily drivers/commuters and the 4Runner is a dated dinosaur. Lackluster engine, Entune 2.0 which is no longer supported, so updated safety features and a Navi unit the size of a lego... All for the low price of $49k. The Passport Elite is $6k plus cheaper and better on all angles.

. Do you think all those folks are being fooled by a "piece of junk"?
Yes.
I wanted one and it’s like a hot blonde at the beach & fell in love with it. It’s quirky to drive and like a blond slow as heck...didn’t care because It’s so darn hot! Look at the forums and for a couple grand you can put on a small lift and bam, hottest darn ride around. That makes it the cool factor. Like a blond once one figures out how damn dumb they are it gets old quick. Some are mesmerized for years and keep raving about how cool it is. Others simply file for divorce, cut the loss and get another ride. Totally kidding but not really

Saw your reply this price included destination fee. Does it also include the dealer $150 fee in it? I'm negotiating at same dealer. Thanks!

2019 Touring, Crystal Black Pearl. MSRP 41,175, dealer discount price 38,930. I asked for all-weather mats and cargo cover ... included with no arguement. Purchased 3/14/19. Dealer had 3 other Passports on the lot, they're gone a week later.
