That was a great article. I think it accurately describes the negatives you might encounter with a rooftop tent. I think their forte is in rocky spots where it's difficult or uncomfortable to set up a ground tent. Small towables are another growing area in mobile outdoor accommodations. Lots of choices to fit everyone's needs. For a small towable (without bathroom) I like the Intech Luna Rover or Intech Flyer Pursue. They can fit in a garage!will likely purchase something that is more along a teardrop design
