I did alot of homework before this purchase. Test drove alot of comparable models. I know what I like and whats important to me. Likes... With acoustic glass its very quiet . A smooth , powerful v6. Honda dependability. Surprisingly good mileage 24.9. Roomy well appointed cabin. Dislikes.... 40+k auto and no panoramic sunroof? No 360 camera. BOTH outside mirrors should fold down in reverse (why one side at a time??). No remote start on honda link app. (why would I pay 100 a year to know my tire pressures and turn on my lights??). Power folding mirrors should be automatic when ignition is turned off. Im not a big fan of black wheels. The likes far exceed the dislikes and most of them seem like easy fixes

Too bad Honda - and others - don't allow something like Forscan that allows the owner to 'tweek' certain settings. I have done a bunch of customization to my F-150.

I think they mean that that both mirrors should angle down in reverse, they only fold when the button is pressed which folds both. Whichever mirror is currently selected on the console to be adjusted is the one that lowers its angle to see the parking lines in reverse, but if neither are selected it would be nice for both to adjust down.

Some people like/need to fold the mirrors in before the ignition is turned off which the Passport makes easy. I don’t know what so many peoples hang up is with that. If it was that big of a deal to you then maybe you’d remember to do it before you turn the ignition off.

I’ve tried, and I don’t remember half the time. I also am sympathetic to those that need the manual activation to get their cars in and out of their garage...my needs are just different, and I think Honda should be able to accommodate both.

After driving a 2017 CRV Touring, the Passport is basically everything I expected in the CRV — powerful, comfortable, and electronics that are faster and more reliable. One thing that I sorely miss is the ability to adjust the raising height of the back door. In the CRV, I could set it to stop at a certain height — i.e. to not hit the bottom of the garage door when opening it when in the garage. Why doesn’t the passport have this feature? Drives me crazy, because I now have to remember to get everything out the back before pulling into the garage, which is a pain if it’s pouring rain.
