Couple years ago I couldn’t get my iPod to work in a new car. Fast forward went to buy a new iPod and the kid at the counter explained it all. Old news is they no longer really support them. Kid sold me a 30 buck USB stick. Results + much faster response time and no need for the iPod

That’s me too. After I went to the USB stick I couldn’t even give my iPod away. Even my kid didn’t want it!
Truth being since streaming music has 40 million songs I haven’t even touched the USB

I plugged in the usb to my MacBook and dragged the iTunes music library right into it. Album art and all songs came in perfect order. only quirk was the videos were mixed with music. You would need to check Honda spec, but 1st time I tried I had an old usb and had to upgrade it as it was not compatible
