Installed this phone holder the other day. Until now, I had been using the original iottie suction cup based holder (and loved it). The dash layout of the current generation Pilot/Passport/Ridgeline doesn't lend itself to using the suction cup solution anymore. So I started poking around for a new solution for the Passport. Looked at the Proclip, but the price was a bit steep. This one cost $15 (last week) and had thousands of reviews and rated very well. At first I was skeptical about installing a phone holder in the air vent, blocking the air flow, etc. but in the end the hesitation was silly. It definitely has some well though out design aspects, and so far really like it. You can install so it sits in a position where it's in your direct line of sight of the road, doesn't interfere with the windshield wiper handle, or the view of the radio. Now we wait to see how long it lasts. Will report back at some point.
